Research music on love, collect samples of songs, analyze common themes, generational themes, and all factors that separates and connect the data and theorize conclusions using information on music and the brain and emotions. Once complete, analyze data and formulate theory. Possibly create love song based on most common themes, can be a mash-up, or create 10 min. mix using sections of at least 20 songs. You can group to prove point or just use and a data collection, if grouped, make clear what process was involved and why. Present in digital format either by slide show or collage, or any creative visual manner that visually creates an overall concept. Use research done on love, relating to themes of anthropology, history, sociology, psychology, biological, economic, and media sources to validate findings.

Sharing Love...
Research Project: “Love that rocks..” - Egor
The Question:
Is Rock'n Roll - music of protest and/or of love?
I will try to answer that question with the help of research of the history of the development of Rock music and I will look at the messages that it communicates. Also I will try to answer the question “What kinds of love and emotions are there in Rock music?” Why most people thought of Rock as music of screaming without making any sense? What events made Rock'n Roll the music of love?
I'll try to find some evidence of that. I'll take videos of different rock bands and different rock events, that to my mind prove that Rock music is also the music of love. At the same time I will study the kinds of love on the basis of different directions of Rock music, for example: Gothic, Hard Rock, New-metal, Indie-rock, Industrial and others.
For the presentation I want to cut the videos and make a film showing results of the research.
