Use video to interview people on love, this can be anything from direct questions to gathering data using a common theme, like people hugging or sharing or touching, something that can show something about love. Once complete, analyze data and formulate theory. The sampling of people must be significant to validate any theories. Create film with data collected. You can group to prove point or just use and a data collection, if grouped, make clear what process was involved and why. Use research done on love, relating to themes of anthropology, history, sociology, psychology, biological, economic, and media sources to validate findings.

Sharing Love...
Outline - Love Video Search - Severin
Based on the scientific method, write a one page outline for your project. Outline the project you will do, the research you will gather and the sources you will use, the questions you have and how you will go about finding solutions using the media.
I will create a film using different kinds of people with different backgrounds and experiences and relation status. I’ll interview them about love and their opinion on love in general. My sources will be mainly public opinion and their thoughts to the subject in general. I will try to put together an overview on the general topic of love.
The project will be process based for example: If it appears that the project goes into a specific direction I hope to understand the path and try to use it for my research.
I will try to get the people to talk about the subject searching for open and candid responses by not informing them of the intended purpose. I will start filming people at a home party when everybody is “generous” enough to share their opinion. I will gather data from different generations to see how age affects our ideas.
The first question of my interview could be: “ What is love to you ? ”. The line of questioning will vary and is dependant on situations and flow of conversations and interviews. I have not actually worked it out yet. I’m still working on some question rather provoking a more meaningful or significant reaction, therefore the work will lead the direction the final product and research takes on. This of course depends on the group of people I will interview. I will use improvisation techniques and social settings for my work.
