Use images of love to create a photo essay on love, this can be anything from abstract, metaphorical and realistic images using a common theme, like people hugging or sharing or touching, something that can show something about love. Once complete, analyze data and formulate theory. The sampling of images must be significant to validate any theories. Create photo essay with data collected. You can group to prove point or just use and a data collection, if grouped, make clear what process was involved and why. Present in digital format either by slide show or collage, or any creative visual manner that visually creates an overall concept. Use research done on love, relating to themes of anthropology, history, sociology, psychology, biological, economic, and media sources to validate findings.

Sharing Love...
Outline - Photography of Love - Janick
My plan is to describe Love by using different media. I will take pictures from typical symbols of Love.
Presentation Ideas:
One idea is to take different sequences of different songs about Love and create a picture for every statement and combine pictures and song-fragments in a movie or slideshow. I will look at also using informative text in the movie/slideshow.
Another idea is to work with different famous quotes on love and combine songs and words as above. Maybe I will look for a famous definition of Love and visualize this definition in pictures.
The third idea is to go through Lüneburg or Hamburg or my hometown Wetzlar looking if Love is present in out city. My goal would be to take photos of everything that has to do with Love. Maybe I will find some advertisements, historic buildings, people.... I will explore visual ideas of love.
Another idea is to do the same but look for what is “Not Love”. For example: no Love for nature, people and our society.
Different countries and cultures have different kinds and definitions of love. My idea is to create a world map, putting pictures (for example: the special African symbol for Love) in the region were it has its origin.
I am also thinking about creating my own music but I am not sure if this will enrich my presentation. My music is without text and has no direct message. It just would be an kind of accompaniment.
The movie/slideshow may be a part of my presentation accompanied by a short discussion after my movie/slideshow.
My next steps are to inform myself about love (symbols of Love, kinds of Love, definitions of Love, history of Love,....) in the internet, books, magazines and so on. Afterwards I have to think about which information I am able to visualize in pictures and how. But the most time I will go outside looking for good locations to take photos.
